Techno Source Brings Yet Another Classic Line of Video Games to Today’s Gamers with Newly Signed Activision® Partnership

New York, NY – February 9, 2006 – Techno Source, a privately held toy company headquartered in Hong Kong, and a leader in electronic toys and games, has signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATVI) to develop and distribute products based on classic Activision properties from the 1980’s, such as Pitfall 2, River Raid, Chopper Command, Barnstorming and Kaboom.  The deal includes TV Plug and Play Systems and LCD-based handheld games, to be available at retail for Fall 2006.

“Activision games like River Raid and Kaboom are some of the all-time classics published during the peak of the first video game revolution,” said Eric Levin, EVP of Techno Source.  “The success of both our Intellivision and Coleco lines prove the appeal of classic games is not limited to the retro gaming community – gamers of all ages embrace the simplicity of good, old-fashioned gameplay.”

“It’s amazing how our classic games have never lost their appeal, despite significant graphic advancements in the world of gaming,” said XX, Activision.  “These games have a simplicity factor that is enormously appealing to many gamers and we know that Techno Source is the right partner to bring them to a new generation of fans.”
