Classic Toys Reinvented

We've scoured the stores. We've shopped through cyber space. We've picked through piles of product pitches from PR firms.
The result? The myFOXdfw.com Holiday Shopping Gift Guide .
There's no paying your way in or bribing us to brag about you -- what you see is what we liked. Sure there's probably stuff we missed but come on -- we had to leave a little free time to get our own holiday shopping done too!
Now your children can enjoy the same toys you grew up with and loved. But these toys are being remade with a new twist.

Rubik's CubeRubik's Touch Cube
On one hand, this new digital version of the classic Rubik's Cube makes it pretty much impossible to cheat (don't lie, you used to switch the stickers around too). But on the other, it's so cool we don't think you'll mind. For holiday 2009 Rubik's Touch Cube is fully touch sensitive. Simply swipe your finger across the top of the toy to "move" the position of each row of colored cubes. It takes a little bit of getting used to -- the tendency is to try and turn it. Need some help? This new version cube has new features like "undo" and "hint", plus it will remember where you left off even if you turn it off. One more modern update? The price is $150! We're pretty sure that out paces the rate of inflation since we first went crazy for the original cube in 1977.
