I was given a sample of this toy at the Time to Play Holiday Showcase in October. This was truly the most innovative product I saw at the show. Lots of cool toys, but as far as innovation goes- this one nailed it. Printies allows your child to design his and her very own stuffed animals on the computer. They pic all the facial features, colors and can even upload their own photos. When the design is complete, just load up their special fabric paper, hit print on your INKJET printer and viola! you have a unique new stuffed friend. This would not only be great for a gift to give a kid, but maybe get it for your kid to design his or her own gifts for family members and friends. It would also be a great birthday party activity. ***Since these animals are printed with ink jet ink, it is not water resistant and it is not recommended to be played with by small children who may put it in their mouths.
